Who we are

MCDC Schooling System opened in 2002 in a rented house in North Nazimabad with four classrooms, six teachers and sixty students. The founders were teachers themselves, and they started the school for a plain reason: they wanted a place where a child would not disappear into a class of fifty.

Twenty-four years on we teach 1,850 students across middle school, Matriculation, O Levels and Intermediate, on a purpose-built campus with laboratories, a library, an auditorium and a full-size ground. Sixty-eight teachers hold the classrooms, more than half of them with us for over eight years. Sections are capped at twenty-four so that every notebook is read every week.

What we have kept from the rented house is the habit of being reachable. Parents meet class teachers once a term face to face, progress reports go out monthly, and the principal's office has no appointment queue. Our students leave for the strongest colleges in the country and for universities abroad, and they tell us they arrived able to think and to write.
